It's the new FLARE in town! Gormiti toys and games are all over the place and kids can't get hold of enough Gormiti toys. These action toys are pouring into the market and new editions are sprouting almost every day and parents are running around to get their kids their favorite toy. Gormiti is essentially a trading card game with a storyline behind it. Series 1 of the game contains a stack of 42 cards. The story was initially called Gormiti: The invincible lords of nature, it was changed to Gormiti: The lords of nature return.
The toys are based on characters from the story of Gorm. It is a village which is left lifeless by the evil villain and again brought to life by a mythical character referred to as Old sage. The old sage evokes the spirits of the four tribes- earth, forest, sea and sky. The rest of story is the events and episodes that follow, in the land of Gorm.
The toys are about 2 inch tall and were created in Italy in 1995. Kids love these toys because action and such an exciting storyline appeals to them. Boys, especially, enjoy collecting sets of Gormiti toys and recreating battles scenes and new stories for them. These toys encourage young minds to create and imagine. Although it would be good to curb their enjoyment of destruction and war, but that is the moral obligation of every parent.
Spongebob Squarepants is another popular game with kids. It is based on a cartoon series aired in nickelodeon. The setting is an underwater city called bikini bottom situated under the Pacific ocean. The whole cartoon has been given an aquatic theme, including the buildings. Several huge Hollywood personalities have worked behind Spongebob by giving their voices. The main idea is humor and the very opening line "who lives in a pineapple under the sea?" has the kids in peals of laughter. Apart from all this there are also toy figures and online games centered on this series.

Online games have gripped the young brains and don't seem to loosen its hold.
